So far this has been a pretty good summer. I think I have finally committed to this running thing and I am currently training for a 10k. So that's great and I feel good about it.
Active Moms and Tots is doing exceptionally well. We have over 75 members and making all sorts of new friends and going to cool places. Rooney went on his first art tour of a sculpture exhibit recently. He probably does not remember what he saw but maybe some hidden talent will be sparked. Also, our group recently had a private class through the Parks Dept and got to go with a naturalist through the park and see bugs, butterflies, bees, dragonflys and even a snake! That was a great experience and we are fortunate enough to be able to set up more classes for our group. Next one is Tide Pools. That should be really interesting. Beside AMAT events we've had a few family days in there too. Near the end of last month was Mike's company picnic. Of the 6 years Mike and I have been together we have never attended this. This was so cool. A few pics...
