Yesterday Rooney and I went to watch his Daddy play football. Well...I wouldn't say we watched it. I yakked most of the time with Louise, the wife of Mike's co-worker, and Rooney flirted and showed off his new hat. Obviously, since I wasn't watching the game I couldn't take pictures...but here is one of Rooney and his new hat.
Pretty sweet, huh? You'll also notice that Rooney was dressed in one of his soccer outfits to support the World Cup.
We've had showers here (is that a Seattle weather term?) since last week. This has really put a crimp in Rooney & Mommy time. We've had several park days planned only to have them scrapped due to weather.
Today was another one of those days but fortunately for us we were able to schedule a last minute playdate. Whew! I think we were starting to get a little cabin fever. When Rooney was sick the weather was beautiful. Seems a little unfair to me to punish the baby twice, however, it did allow us time to take some Mommy & Baby pictures.
