King Me

The last two weeks have been kind of weird. The dreaded "2 week wait" has been hard but I tried very hard to keep my mind off of what the results would be when we finally got our blood test. I already have a Rooney afterall we needed to resume our normal schedule.

We did some fun things like took a tour of a dentist's office (he is already Rooney's dentist and a sponsor for our group), had a Valentine's Day party and of course visits to The Bouncy Place and Met Gym. Rooney really likes going to the dentist. Mostly because he comes out of there with an armful of loot and he gets to watch TV while in the chair. They also have toys in the waiting room and if there are toys Rooney is going to play. This picture is from the dentist office tour. They were playing a game where Rooney was blindfolded with a surgical mask. I think he's cheating.

More exciting news that happened in the last two weeks is that Rooney is now sleeping in a big boy bed. We finally just decided to convert Roon's crib and we've had very little issues. I think Rooney really likes the idea of being out of his crib. We are trying to emphasize all the "big boy" stuff he gets to do now that he's getting older. Of course it's all tied to trying to get him on the toilet and I think it worked...

As of today we are considering Rooney potty trained (well day trained). He has gone 3 straight days without an accident. He was able to finally play with the fire engine we bought for him at least 6 months ago. He also got to wear his Potty Trained crown. I'll try to get pics of all this. Rooney has been asking for the crown alot lately and he really worked for it. I am so proud of him!

Lastly, we had our 2 week pregnancy blood test. While Mike and I don't want to jinx anything and tell the results, being as we have been so open about the IVF, we wanted to say that we would tell you if it was negative.
