I've been grumbling so much lately about Rooney not being born and condo issues (of which I had more this morning) & then it takes something like this to remind me that 1. Rooney's impending arrival, no matter when it will be, will be joyous & 2. not only do I have one home but I have 2.

My younger brother Casey, his girlfriend Rebecca & their dog Siren were one of the families evacuated @ 3 a.m. this morning. Right now they are holed up @ my mom's house, with a few possessions they could load into their dog's kennel & are waiting to see if they will be able to return to their home.
Makes me very grateful I can basically manage both mine from my bed.
At 26 weeks pregnant I started this blog for my son Rooney. The plan was to document feelings, body changes and eventually to share pictures of our son with friends and family. 4 years later, with the addition of Rooney's little sister, Ailbe, we are now sharing the lives of our 2 kiddos. I'm not sure how long this blog will go on for but as long as people are reading we'll keep posting.
