Mike and I had our weekly MD appointment today. I was really hoping to hear I was dilated 4cm. I know this was a tall order since I haven't had any contractions but maybe I'd be one of those women that have no idea they are in labor. Unfortunately, my not-so-secret dilation hopes, were dashed. The MD said I had not dilated any further but I had made progress on effacement. That's something. Technically I still have a chance of having Rooney early but I am much less hopeful than I was a week ago and we made our MD appt. for next week.
Hmmmm...this week may call for some long walks and housecleaning.
At 26 weeks pregnant I started this blog for my son Rooney. The plan was to document feelings, body changes and eventually to share pictures of our son with friends and family. 4 years later, with the addition of Rooney's little sister, Ailbe, we are now sharing the lives of our 2 kiddos. I'm not sure how long this blog will go on for but as long as people are reading we'll keep posting.
