Snap Shots

As Rooney has gotten older my photo taking (and blog posting) has definitely decreased but I have some random snapshots and video from last week that I thought were cute and should post even though I didn't have an individual blog post to go with each one.






What the?!? I think Courage was stuck here. I eventually had to help him down.



















Rooney riding his tricycle at the park. He was so excited to show this to Felix and Charlie. He calls it his "Fire Power Ranger Bike".




















He was so successful on the path that he thought he would try it out on the sand. Much less successful.



Later in the week we went to Pacific Science Center to see the dinosaurs. Of course we had to get the obligatory "Little Guy in a Big Chair" photo. Rooney really loved playing with the robotic arms they have on display.




















Mike and Rooney often go to Lowe's to build little projects (the last one they built a hanglider). But not long ago Rooney saw a commercial where a little boy built a race car. He decided he wanted to build one all on his own too...








eventually we convinced him to let Mike help. Here they are building Rooney's Batman Pine Car racer.






















The painting has been a several day project


Lastly...this video has already been posted on Facebook and I haven't edited out the talking in the background but I thought it was a really cute little video of Rooney and Felix playing. Their little squeals of laughter are pretty infectious. So please ignore all the banter that is also captured in the audio.
